– Text a photo of the card to the league administrator after completing play.

Points:
– Individual scoring:
– 2 point per hole won, 1 point for a tied hole for each golfer.
– 1 point for winning the match, 1/2 point for a tied match for each golfer.

Forfeits:
– A player not scoring a round for week earns zero points. His opponent will play against the course and his handicap to receive points for the round.
– The player that did show up, will play against the course for points.

Make Ups:
– A player intending to make up a missed round should contact the league administrator in advance and complete the round prior to the intended missed week. Please take a picture of the dated scorecard with pro shop receipt and email to [email protected]

Awards:
– We will recognize first half and second half league rankings.
– We will award league champions at the season.

Miscellaneous:

– Handicaps will be established this year over the first 2 rounds of play. That means that the first published standings will be just prior to our 3rd round of play.

– Results / Standings will be available on our website (see above) and an e-mail notification will go out to let you know that scoring and standings have been updated.

– Tees: Tees are based on age group this year and are slightly different than last year based on league member and committee feedback for fairness for all:
– White Tees: Age 64 And Below
– Gold Tees: Age 65+

– Gimmees: Not Permitted – Please complete all holes by putting out.

– Plugged Ball: Lift, clean and place is allowed.

– Lost Balls: PLEASE don’t spend too much time looking for your ball! Take a few minutes (no more than 3) to look for the ball, grieve, take the stroke penalty, and play on! We have a full house and must keep play moving.

– Max strokes per hole: 2x par on any given hole. Once you get to 2x par, please pick up. Do not continue to play as this may back up others and do not record a score higher than 2x par. So, on a par 3 – 6 max, par 4 – 8 max par 5 – 10 max.

The GC3 Cleveland Golf League is an extension of the Greater Cleveland George Cron Golf Classic – a memorial tournament held Father’s Day Weekend.
