Golfers Start Season With Handicap Round At Cossett Creek

BRUNSWICK – With temperatures reaching 80 degrees, members of the GC3 Cleveland Golf League kicked off the 2026 early season with a handicap round of play at Cossett Creek. John Walsh turned in a low score of 47 (with 1 par) on the front nine. Mike Zenczak turned in a 48 with 3 pars, and Bernie Willoughby shot 50 recording 2 pars on holes 2 and 3. Adam Gilbert, Mike Matis, and Jeff Marfinetz each notched a par score of this opening week of play.

Handicap qualifying play returns next week to Cossett.
